A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Downloadable (unfinished) game for Windows/PC

Note - This build is made for catching bugs! Play at your own risk!

NOIR is a visual novel with life sim elements in which you collect clues and interrogate suspects by trying to catch them in contradictions.

This build contains a (much revamped) introduction to the structure of the game. More chapters are very close to finished but I feel can only come to life with the contribution of VA’s. My goal in posting the game is to help network with VA’s who I can welcome onboard and fill the missing lines.

The music used comes courtesy of Julian Winter (https://julianwinter.de/) and Paul Looney.

I've been keeping my eye out for a release of this game for about 8 months now, very excited to try it later today - everything looks amazing!

Thank you so much!
The current build only has a single case available but we have several more in the pipeline...

Loved this Liam!

Playtime: 30-60 mins (I spent 60mins, but I was trying to catch bugs)

Best Parts:

1. Culture Notes

2. Cinematography, Noir Style

3. Right amount of "complicated" (I didn't find this demo "needlessly complicated" at all, at least for this build).

(I think I'll also enjoy the Money and Travel systems in future chapters.)

Minor Bugs:

1. Biggest issue for me was the minor misspelling of "小姐" as "siu jei" in the game - as neither Jyutping (siu² ze²) nor Yale (síu jé) spellings were used.

2. Some non-mainstream routes are mismatched, texts misaligned, and RenPy standards overwritten, But nothing major.

I'll send you a full list of feedback with screenshots via your BSky/somehow later today/tomrrow. I also have some longer thoughts re: VA that I wanted to share with you.

You angel! Thank you so much!
